I love love love Richard Feynman! I first came across him in a documentary when I was around 20 and was blown away. Thanks for the reminder of why he’s such an inspiration.

I love Feynman too!! And I agree: the purpose of the individual brain isn't to retain everything it's to process things and have ideas, to be able to imagine "if this.. then that..". The ability to read, write and know how to find *useful* information helps us retain and acess whatever we learn. Same with our social networks. What we get from our human ability to use language, to process ideas and think about them is the power to choose. To choose wisely and well is an achievement.
