What an interesting approach to a book! I will not attempt to follow in your footsteps, as my drawing is terrible and my handwriting is illegible. Enjoy your trip!

Ha Ha! Just try it. You might surprise yourself. I only started sketching just a few years ago.

Neera, this is sooo lovely! I adore your illustrations and your combination of historical and personal info. (I'll also be in London briefly this month, so it's getting me excited!) Thanks for mentioning my work! ❤️

Thank you soo much for stopping by and leaving me a note. Dare I say that your ‘Magic Questions’ helped. I ran out of time to fully explore all the questions. Usually it takes about 4-5 weeks for a book to form. As you might know I write my books in public, a chapter a week. I am hoping to improve my sketching skills with this one. They have rusted as I haven’t touched them for almost six months.

Your sketching hardly looks rusty! This is beautiful! I'm glad the Scene Magic helped too! ❤️

Yes, London has a special charm. I stay in the neighboring city, Birmingham.

How lovely to be able to see your daughters, I note they must live at or near Islington. We went to St Mary’s Church on one of our visits to the UK as that is where my Great Great Grandparents were married. They are buried in Kensall Green cemetery. Love your sketches, you do them so well. Don’t hold your breath waiting for the girls to come home, our son has been there for 25 years, and would come, back except he has two daughters who can’t come with him yet.

Thanks Sally. Indeed it is lovely to see my daughters. Yes they live in Islington. I will check out St Mary’s Church. Yeah, you’re right, I better not hold my breath for them coming back home.
