Good morning Neera, you certainly have given me inspiration to write a better blog, definitely food for thought. We have been to many countries and I always write a journal, but I need to take more care in making it interesting for others, not just myself, particularly on Substack.
You are welcome Sally. If you have been writing a journal during your travel, you certainly have a lot of material to write about. Follow along to get more ideas on how to make it an interesting read for others. I have lessons planned for the rest of the year. And I will be sharing my writing as I travel.
Excellent. Where have you traveled lately Minaz? Where have you written about your travels? Are you looking to compile your travel writings in a book form?
Hi Neera, my last extended travel was to Turkey which included not just the popular destinations but archeological sites such as Gobekli Tepe and Catal Huyuk.
I also explore the city I live in on foot. A book on Bandra and the Coastal Trails of Mumbai suburbs is in the process of being published.
Wow! Turkey is one of my favourite destination. And you explored it on foot! What a great way to explore a place. Seems like you are into walking. I would love to know more about Bandra and the Coastal Trails. Good luck with publishing. Are going with a publisher or self-publishing it.
This year I travelled first to New Zealand and then to the US and Canada. I was writing a day-to-day account of both these trips which I want to develop the full account one day. I am leaving for India in about ten-day's time and that is what I want to write about. India holds a special place in my heart as my homeland, and each visit stirs up a wave of memories, emotions, of things I've missed. I'm eager to capture these aspects during this trip, which has been long overdue. Over the years, I've gathered numerous unforgettable experiences from my past travels, and I'm keen to weave them into this memoir.
I would love to hear what you want to write about?

Putting together the 2 things I absolutely love - travel and writing. Sounds really exciting!!

Thanks :) Traditional publishing. Will keep you posted on the release.
Today's writing prompt and discussion questions are:
Which places have you traveled?
Which place would like to write about and why?
What were your most memorable experiences? And why?

Terrific idea, Neera. It will be a good challenge for me. Your tips are excellent!
Great to have you onboard, Amie. It will be a lot of fun. I promise.
