Dear Reader,
Questions are very powerful. When you give your mind a question, it will always try to answer it. Whenever contemplating or wondering, we are asking ourselves questions Why did this happen to me? Why is it always my fault? Why life is so unfair? The problem is, that these questions are negative, so the answers are negative too.
The solution is to ask ‘positive questions.’
Positively phrased questions encourage helpful insights and solutions. An example of a ‘positive question’ is, ‘Why do good things always happen to me?’
Our brain love to answer questions. Give it a good question and you’ll get a good answer. Give it a poor question and you will get an answer that will keep you stuck. Positive questions encourage your subconscious mind to find positive solutions and shift focus from negativity to positivity. They help you get out of a stuck emotional state and manifest positive outcomes.
They are different than affirmations. Affirmations are clear, positive statements you make about yourself as if it is already true. They work if you repeat them until they become a part of your belief system and your subconscious mind acts in accordance with the newly implanted belief.
But there is a problem with affirmations.
If your conviction is not strong, your subconscious mind rejects them. That’s why affirmations don’t work for some people. Often, people don’t believe what they are affirming.
Positive questions trick your mind into seeking a positive answer.
They allow your subconscious to find creative answers, encourage intuition, and bring you to the right state of mind to discover new and exciting possibilities.
They help you take action, solve problems and create a higher frequency for good things to happen to you.
4 Keys To Creating Powerful Positive Questions:
Phrase the question with the words ‘Why’ or ‘How come.’
Include the word ‘always,’ or ‘at all times.’
Get into a relaxed meditative state before asking the question.
Write down the answer as it comes.
Examples of Positive Questions
Why am I always so successful in everything I do?
Why do I feel so fulfilled, at all times, in every aspect of my life?
Why do I have all the energy and focus I need to succeed in all I desire?
Why the universe is so kind to me at all times?
Why is my body always fit and pain-free?
Try them. They help change your meaning and perspective on certain life situations and replace unhelpful negative thinking.
You can turn any negative question or belief you have in your mind into a positive question and do the exercise. The answer will give you a way out or even a roadmap to achieve whatever you desire to achieve.
It was my brother’s 60th birthday this week. He wanted to go to Sri Venkateswara Temple in Helensberg Sydney. So, on Saturday, we drove for four hours from Canberra to visit the temple for the first time. Build on South Indian temple architecture, it was an impressive building. After praying and having a delicious breakfast of samosa, vada, idly, dosa, and sambar, prepared by the devotees, we went sightseeing in the lush Stanwell Park and its surroundings.
On Tuesday, his actual birthday, I baked an almond meal orange cake and took it to his home. We had a lovely evening, sitting with the family and cutting the cake. This morning, reminiscing about the milestone, I felt like sketching. For a long time, I have been wanting to draw tiny people, but
’s recent sketches inspired me to explore it. So I drew our visit to the temple and cake cutting, from some of the photos we took. Here is the outcome:
That’s all from me this week.

The sketch is perfect! And I’m intrigued by the almond meal orange cake.
