I had a great day, soaking in both the museum and the joy of simply noticing the world around me.
I just want to let
, author and fellow Substack writer, know that I’m thoroughly enjoying his book. I’m taking my time with it, using some of the exercises to strengthen my ‘noticing’ skills. As for 301 Things to Draw, I haven’t started yet, as I’ve been spending most of my time sketching for this newsletter. I’ll dive into it once I’ve wrapped up my current work.
Dear reader,
As revealed in the previous' letter, I am looking at revamping my publication.
Last October, I rebranded it as Everything Is A Book with the goal of writing a book each quarter and inviting readers to write their own alongside me.
Over the past 12 months, I’ve written four books, with the latest being London Diaries.
Through this process, I’ve grown more confident in my writing, but I’ve realized my newsletter has been largely self-focused.
Now, I want to shift the focus to my readers, helping them achieve their writing, publishing, and marketing goals.
My vision is to create a community where writers support one another on their journeys.
I’ve made some progress. I have come up with two potential names and four logo designs:
• Author’s Hub
• Author Circle
Which name and logo resonates most with you?
I’d love to hear your thoughts!
That’s all from me this week.
As always, thanks for reading.
See you next week.
I like author's hub for the new name and personally, like the logo on bottom left. I am excited to see what comes next.
Once again an enjoyable day out in London. Like others I haven’t noticed the “gum” art, but then it is many years since we crossed that Bridge, maybe 15? Each time I see your drawings Neera I am amazed that you didn’t end being an architect, your eye for detail and perspective are amazing.
